Eco-friendly Presentations, Packaging & Printing Products
1. Vinyl is Recyclable
The vinyl wrapping on most binder covers can be removed, with a bit of work, and recycled. Certainly, we can recycle the vinyl wrapping, the chipboard inside, and even the set of metal rings.
2. Removable, Reusable 3-Ring Binders
Don’t use rivets to attach the 3 rings to your binder. Instead, use these removable metal clasps, and reuse them in your next binder project. Reduce waste and save money.
3. Post-Consumer Recycled Paper
Don’t forget about the numerous sheets of paper inside your presentation. It’s easy to make sure that your paper has some recycled content. We even offer 100% post-consumer paper choices.
4. Eco-Friendly Inks
Today, there are plenty of eco-friendly ink alternatives. We use UV screening inks (those that cure under UV lamps instead of air drying) which are more green in the clean-up process. They do not contain the VOC’s that are found in conventional screen printing inks which makes them safer for the employees to work with and do not create hazardous waste.
5. Polyethylene Presentation Covers
Trendex’s poly covers are recyclable, and we can buy and use a recycled poly in a variety of colors for your project’s cover.
6. Chipboard Presentation Covers
Think about not using a laminated printed litho wrap or vinyl around your binder or presentation cover. Trendex can screen print directly onto chipboard.
7. Wire Binding
Using wire binding instead of plastic coils. Wire can be recycled, or it will biodegrade in a landfill.

Our packaging and presentation consultants will work with you to determine where we can remove plastics and unneeded materials to cut down on potential waste. It can be as easy as removing the often unnecessary plastic pocket from a binder cover.
